From Courtenay:

- Proceed north on the Island Highway (route 19A) to Hardy Road. Hardy Road is about a mile past the Courtenay Country Market.
- Turn right on Hardy Road and follow it to the stop sign at Coleman Road.
- Turn right on Coleman to the next stop sign at the intersection of Bate's Road.
- Turn right on Bate's Road and proceed about a quarter mile to Avonlee.
- Turn left on Avonlee and follow the road straight ahead and then down the hill.
At the bottom of the hill the road makes a sharp turn to the left and you'll go past both the Bate's Beach Resort and Jasper's Resort. Belle Vue is the large white house straight ahead about six homes past Jasper's.

- Take Anderton Road north to Waveland. - Veer left on to Waveland and follow it to Bate’s Road. - Turn left on to Bate’s Road and follow it through Seal Bay Park to Avonlee. Avonlee is about a half-mile past Seal Bay Park. - At Avonlee turn right and proceed ahead and then down the hill making a sharp left turn at the bottom as you pass both Bate’s Beach Resort and Jasper’s Resort. You’ll find Belle Vue located straight ahead down the street, about a normal city block.

Most local residents are familiar with both Bate’s Beach and Jasper’s and can direct you if necessary. There is good signage for both resorts along the way as a guide.
